It is nice to know why I became a hypnotherapist; the reason is simple: Because I want to help you to overcome the blocks you have put in place and help you to reach your full potential.
I have witnessed the benefits of hypnosis and I wanted to train in Clinical Hypnotherapy because it has, and continues to have, such a life-changing effect on people.
Studies have found that Hypnotherapy takes an average of just six sessions to make long-lasting change, while Psychoanalysis takes 600.
You are unique so your sessions will be tailored to your specific requirements. This is why the initial chat will help to identify if hypnosis at this time is right for you, also you need to be comfortable with me. This is the time for you to ask as many questions as you want and to ensure that you are ready to move forward with your journey.
Just think of your mind as a computer; when that hourglass icon appears you don’t know what is stopping the rest of your computer from working efficiently. You may think that it is one particular file but when we look closer it could be something completely different.
Your subconscious works in the same way, so we will have to work together to see which files we need look at, work on, or close down to make your computer ‘mind’ work in the most efficient way.

I really did not know what to expect when I first spoke to Yvonne about hypnotherapy, I was sooo nervous.
However, I needn’t have been because she was just so supportive, calming, and totally understood what I wanted to achieve. During the lockdown, I had definitely noticed that the drinks on the weekend were flowing into the week and I was drinking much more than I normally would.
Anyone who knows me knows I love a vino but it was getting to be every day.

Yvonne went over some EFT tapping techniques with me to help with my anxiety. Yvonne was lovely and friendly and made me feel at ease, very clearly explained the steps and went through them with me a few times to make sure I understood it all! She was fab! Can’t wait to practise and try the techniques she showed me!
Yvonne really is amazing and her EFT techniques have helped me massively. I’m a huge stress head at times so having techniques like this in my back pocket really do help keep me in track.
Not going to lie, I’ve been friends with Yvonne for years. I was initially mildly sceptical that she’d be able to hypnotise me or that it would make any difference to me. But I thought I may as well give it a go. I asked Yvonne if she could help me stop my habit of picking the skin of my nails until it bled. I was really impressed with her knowledge and professionalism and of course by the outcome! I’ve only had one session so far but it has made a huge difference. I couldn’t believe it actually worked so well. Coronavirus hit and with the added stress of that I have started picking again on one thumb, but 9 out of 10 digits are now healed! Also the main thing I think is that after treatment an unconscious habit has become a conscious one. So I’m now aware of what I’m doing and (on the most part) choosing not to continue this harmful and frankly quite gross habit, I might even start wearing nail varnish for the first time in years, thanks to Yvonne!
